Years ago I saw Claire Basler’s paintings of flowers in an English gardening magazine. I was in awe. She paints huge wall size canvases of flowers and sky. Looking back on her work recently I was inspired to work with flowers and sky in a new way. I don’t know where this is going but the ride is exciting for me.
